Amazing restaurant! Great food, clean, and wonderful food service. Hostess was friendly and fun spirited. Would highly recommend this as a stop in your travels!

This is the hidden gem of Cave City. Great food. Friendly staff. Clean tables and floors. Reasonable prices. What else are you looking for in a family vacation dinner spot?

I came here on a whim while visiting from out of state. The Food was actually amazing..... I won't lie. However, this is the most rundown place I've ever been to. Everything was ancient and dilapidated. It was like stepping into a time warp. The waitress was very rude. I asked for a to go container for the buffet and she looked at me like she'd rather chew pennies.... then sent me to ask someone else, who also wouldn't give it to me. The cashier finally put me out of my misery and gave me one. It's like one of those diners in a horror movie where they hate out of towners. Go here if u absolutely must and get the catfish.

Been here 2 years prior this visit and it was great! This visit was not satisfying-half of the menu list was not available to order as per new management policy they have. Sad to see going from very good food down to "no choice -eat what we get for you"

We asked a few locals and they told us this was the place to go in Cave City. The catfish on the buffet is the best I've had in a long time!! Service was great. Very casual old time restaurant. We loved it!!

Very friendly wait staff and excellent fried chicken dinner. Kids meals are very affordable. Will definitely be back to try the buffet.

This was great little hometown restaurant serving a classic breakfast. The kids, my wife, and I really enjoyed it. We spent about $35 for a family of 4. It was very quite because it was during the week and the off season but we're told it gets very busy during the vacation season. Check it out if you're in you're coming through here.

Great service, nice people, good food. Had the breakfast bar. Over all the food was good. If I'm in the area again I will definitely stop back by.

Nice stop on our road trip. Great homemade kitchen dinner. The are still doing the buffet during this covid mess. You just have to have your food plated by a worker. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Try the catfish and peach cobbler, delicious!!

Waitress forgot our drinks..then brings 2 adult drinks for my 5 year olds. She said "oh, I thought they were grown". Otherwise the food is good. They were busy at the time..just irritated by that.

Good down home country buffet is excellent. All the waitresses are nice and do a great job. God,I love their catfish.lol. My wife and I drive an hour from our home just to eat there.

I dont usually review places, but the food here was too good not to! My family ordered the steak and eggs with hash browns, a french toast breakfast with bacon, and the homestyle gravy and biscuits. EVERYTHING was amazing! Definitely coming back!

Food was ok The waitresses really nice but she never came back to fill up our glasses didn't get my sides until we were ready to leave it was decent

Stopped in for lunch after a morning at Mammoth Caves. Had a great local dive feel. My wife and son had sandwiches and I had the buffet. All were fantastic. Best peach cobbler ever! Prices and service were awesome too.

Good buffet. Salad bar is awesome Would like to see different items on the buffet table from time to time. Its good but its always the same items.

Plan to spend at least one full day here. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Strollers and electric carts for disabled folks are available to rent. Be prepared to learn that much of what you were taught in school is incorrect. The displays are well researched and the gift shops are awesome. The food and beverages are delicious and reasonably priced. Staff members are polite and helpful. The Ark does a wonderful job of making us re-examine our beliefs. Thank you!

I was visiting from out of town and was excited to see a buffet open. All they had was catfish, and maybe 4 sides to choose from. The staff serves the food and you’re Allowed as many plates as you can eat but I wasn’t very pleased with the tastefulness of the fish. However, for a buffet the price was great. I paid $20for 3 people (myself and two children) drink included. They did have a menu to order from so if I’m ever in town again I’d like to try that.

Amazing country comfort food! So worth the short little trot to the top of the hill rather than down with all the other restaurants you find on every corner. The meatloaf, fried fish, pork baked in cream of mushroom gravy deliciousness, cobbler, nor the salad for that matter, did not last long enough for a photo opportunity. However, a few of the sides did (see pic attached.) YUMMY!!!

The staff is super friendly, and I really wanted to love this place, but it’s dirty. There’s a spider above our table, and there are lots of flies. Everything is sticky. The food is homemade, and I thought the mashed potatoes and gravy were great. A few changes and this place could be really nice.

The food is amazing!!! Country dining at its finest, taste just like mom’s home cooking. There is a buffet or you can order off the menu, I have chosen the buffet every time! I will come here again and again. I love every food item, especially the mashed potatoes! We drive 45 mins just to eat at the Watermill!

Completely awful got our drinks and asked for a menu. The waitress disappeared after giving a menu and only 3 of us ate the buffet and we had some salad but still had to pay $40 for pretty much nothing and our waitress never come back! Ridiculous never be back!

Great place considering they had to cut back because of covid. They all wear masks and serve your food for you at the buffet. Good food and great people.

It was a great buffet style restaurant. They have a menu you can order off of too. They were very friendly. It is now non smoking...

Buffet looksled scary for out of towners. Burgers were good. The Manhattan...we should have gotten a full plate. amazzzziinnngg!!!

Great lunch or super. Stay away at breakfast. They only have 1 small grill and it allows them down.

Homemade foods. We had one buffet and a patty melt. Food was fresh and hot. Buffet was all you can eat for less then $10, GREAT DEAL!
